Environmental Studies Program

US-Brazil Consortium

The US-Brazil Consortium is unlike most study abroad programs. We focus on the environment in particular, and students are matched with families and professors who offer them a unique, hands-on approach to living and studying in South America.

The fall of 2008 marks the seventh year of the international cooperation between the Washington and Lee and two Brazilian universities. The US-Brazil Program promotes student-centered cooperation between the two countries to increase cross-national education, training opportunities, and joint research in a wide range of academic and professional disciplines.

We are currently accepting applications for 2009 summer and fall study abroad. Find more information on our Brazil study abroad website, including curriculum, news, pictures and how you can develope an international perspective of the environment and sustainable development.
