Students wishing to have intensive summer language training may want to explore these two scholarship programs: The Kathryn Davis Fellowship for Peace to be used at Middlebury College, in Vermont, and a U.S. Department of State/Council of American Overseas Research Centers program for for intensive summer language institutes oversaeas. The deadline for Summer 2009 applications for overseas institutes is November 14, 2008 for on-line applications. The Davis fellowship info for 2009 is not up on their site yet, but keep checking...links to both sites are listed below.
